  • Mayonnaise4× tablespoon (100 g)
  • Gherkins2× piece (70 g)
  • Natural yoghurt2× tablespoon (50 g)
  • Walnuts1× handful (30 g)
  • Mustard, smooth1× tablespoon (20 g)
  • Wine Vinegar1× teaspoon (10 g)
  • Sweet paprika1× teaspoon (3 g)

How to make Kartoffelsalat

  1. 1. Boil some soft-skinned potatoes and let them cool. Coarsely grate the apple, dice the apple and cucumber.

  2. 2. Finely chop the walnuts, add to the apple, onion and cucumber, then mix with the yoghurt, mayonnaise, mustard and paprika, and season with the white wine vinegar, salt, pepper, nutmeg and sugar.

  3. 3. Peel the potatoes and slice them as thinly as possible, mix with the dressing and season with chives.
