  • Chicken breast, without skin2× piece (300 g)
  • White wine, dry1× cup (150 ml)
  • Ham, lean3× slice (60 g)
  • Wholemeal flour5× teaspoon (40 g)
  • Olive oil1× tablespoon (10 g)

How to make Saltimbocca chicken

  1. 1. Wash and dry the fillets, slice horizontally with a sharp knife.

  2. 2. Cover the meat with kitchen foil, then flatten it out with a rolling pin Add salt and pepper.

  3. 3. Cover each piece with sage leaves and ham slices on both sides. Secure with toothpicks.

  4. 4. Sprinkle flour on each side of the meat. Heat up the oil on a medium heat and place the fillets in the pan. Fry lightly for 4 minutes, turn over and fry for another 4 mins.

  5. 5. Add the wine, then after a moment remove the fillets, wrap them in foil and set aside. Boil the wine for another minute until a little has evaporated. Arrange the meat on plates and pour over the sauce from the pan.
