  • Brown rice0.5× cup (90 g)
  • Leek12× slice (60 g)

  • Onion3× slice (30 g)
  • Chives, fresh4× tablespoon (20 g)
  • Sesame seeds2× tablespoon (20 g)
  • Garlic3× clove (15 g)
  • Pepper, cayenne, ground1× tablespoon (6 g)

  • Coriander leaves, dried1× pinch (2 g)

How to make Fried rice with chicken

  1. 1. Boil the rice then set aside to cool.

  2. 2. Dice the chicken, season with salt, pepper and lime juice then mix with a little oil.

  3. 3. Peel and grate the carrots. Rinse and slice the leek. Dice the onion and press the garlic.

  4. 4. De-seed and chop up the chilli pepper. Chop up the chives.

  5. 5. Break the eggs into a bowl, add salt and pepper and beat.

  6. 6. Pour 2 tbs of oil into a large frying pan, add the onion and stir-fry for about 1 minutes, add the garlic and fry for another minute. Add the carrot and leek, and fry for around 2 minutes, stirring regularly.

  7. 7. Shift the vegetables to the side of the pan, and in the free space place the chicken, chilli pepper and sesame, fry for approx. 2 minutes, then stir in with the vegetables and fry for about a minute.

  8. 8. Pour in the rice and fry for around 2 minutes, stirring frequently. Add the egg and stir-fry for half a minute until the egg sets, remove from the heat. Mix with the chives and coriander. Drizzle with lime juice.

    The pepper, seeds, and onions, my husband and I cannot have (IBS &CRONS), but we will give it a modified try.
