  • Chickpeas, cooked or canned1× cup (170 g)
  • Groats4× tablespoon (60 g)
  • Leek11× slice (55 g)
  • Oil2× tablespoon (20 g)
  • Garlic1× clove (5 g)
  • Parsley, fresh2× leaf (2 g)
  • Salt2× pinch (1 g)
  • Cumin1× pinch (1 g)
  • Turmeric, ground1× pinch (1 g)

How to make Millet balls with chickpeas

  1. 1. Boil the millet groats and leave to cool.

  2. 2. Slice the white and light green part of the leek and glaze in a tablespoon of oil, then leave to cool.

  3. 3. Blend the boiled or tinned chickpeas with the groats, leek, chopped garlic, parsley, seasoning and 1 tbs of oil.

  4. 4. Form 12 balls from the resulting mass and place them in the oven pre-heated to 200 degrees for 25 minutes.
