How to make Millet groats with kale and courgette

  1. 1. Pour the millet groats into the bottom of a pan and dry roast, stirring frequently (about 3 min). Don’t let it burn.

  2. 2. Pour in a glass of water, salt and boil for approx. 10 min.

  3. 3. Add the chopped kale leaves, stir and cook for approx. 2 min more.

  4. 4. After this, add half of the seasoning and half of the finely chopped garlic.

  5. 5. Chop up the courgette, add salt, garlic and the rest of the seasoning, drizzle with oil and mix everything together.

  6. 6. Heat some oil in a pan (half of the amount stated) and fry the courgette. Halfway through frying, add the diced onion.

  7. 7. Add the seeds, and groats with kale, mix together and fry for about 3 min.

  8. 8. Remove from the heat and pour on the mixture of lemon juice, the rest of the oil and honey.

  9. 9. Place on a plate and garnish with chives.
