  • White wine, dry0.4× cup (60 ml)
  • Butter4× tablespoon (48 g)
  • Lemon2× slice (20 g)
  • Sugar, white1× teaspoon (5 g)
  • Salt2× pinch (1 g)
  • Pepper, black0.3× pinch (0.3 g)

How to make Baked asparagus in butter and wine

  1. 1. Heat the oven to 200C.

  2. 2. Wash the asparagus and cut off the hard ends.

  3. 3. Transfer the asparagus to a casserole dish, sprinkle with sugar, salt and pepper, drizzle with wine and pour half of the butter on top.

  4. 4. Cover the dish with aluminium foil and put it in the oven for 45 minutes.

  5. 5. Melt the remaining butter in a saucepan, add the lemon juice and juice left over from the asparagus, then mix.

  6. 6. Pour the sauce on the asparagus, then sprinkle with chives
