How to make Hoisin chicken with rice and broccoli

  1. 1. Prepare the hoisin sauce. by mixing together all the ingredients - water, soya sauce, rice vinegar, peanut butter, sesame oil and sugar.

  2. 2. Dice the chicken into small pieces and season with salt, grated garlic, chilli powder and pepper.

  3. 3. Heat the olive oil in a wok or deep frying pan.

  4. 4. Place the chicken in the hot oil a portion at a time and fry for around 2 minutes, then turn it over.

  5. 5. Once all the meat is fried, slide it to the edge of the pan, then pour the previously prepared hoisin sauce into the free space.

  6. 6. Bring it to the boil, then combine it with the meat and fry everything together, stirring frequently. Sprinkle the chicken with sesame.

  7. 7. Boil the rice according to the instructions on the packet, and wash then steam the broccoli.

  8. 8. Serve the chicken with the rice and broccoli
