  • Beans, cooked or canned2× tablespoon (40 g)

How to make Beef and bean chilli

  1. 1. Soak the beans overnight, put them in a saucepan and cover them with fresh water

  2. 2. Add a laurel leaf and allspice, then bring to the boil

  3. 3. Fry the chopped onion and diced beef in heated oil. Add chilli and fry a while longer

  4. 4. Add the cooked beans to the meat. Season with salt and pepper then boil for another 5 minutes

  5. 5. Serve the chilli with boiled rice
