  • Bananas medium320 g
  • Wholemeal flour225 g
  • Free Range Eggs Large2× piece (136 g)
  • Pure Canadian Maple Syrup125 ml
  • Cocoa powder25 g
  • Tesco Plain Chocolate Chips 100G25 g
  • Vanilla extract1× teaspoon (5 g)
  • Baking powder1× teaspoon (4 g)

How to make Chocolate banana muffins

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 200*C (fan 180/ gas mark 6). Mash the bananas.

  2. 2. Put the mashed bananas, egg, maple syrup and vanilla extract in a large bowl and mix well.

  3. 3. Sift the flour, cocoa powder and baking powder into a banana mixture and tip in anything left in the sieve. Mix well until completely combined.

  4. 4. Divide the mixture between 12 muffin cases and place chocolate chips on the top of each muffin.

  5. 5. Place in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 mins.
