  1. 1. Place the beans under water for 12hrs

  2. 2. Remove the water

  3. 3. Cook them in boiling water for 30 min until they are soft

  4. 4. Finely cut onions, carrots & garlic

  5. 5. Add olive oil in a big pot and cook it for 5 min medium heat

  6. 6. Add cut veggies to the oil and stir, low heat until they soften up

  7. 7. Boil 1lt of water in the meantime

  8. 8. Once water is boiled add the bay leaves, pepper, stock cube & the beans, stir

  9. 9. Add the boiling water and the tomato passata, stir and cook medium heat for 30 minutes and stir from time to time and add a bit of salt you want

  10. 10. Once the water evaporated and the mix is more dense switch off the heat and let it sit for 5 - 10 minutes and then serve it
