How to make Oatmeal cookies with chocolate and nuts

  1. 1. Melt the butter and beat it with a whisk with white and brown sugar until smooth.

  2. 2. Add eggs and vanilla extract/sugar. Nice to beat again.

  3. 3. Add oatmeal, flour, soda, cinnamon and salt. Mix with a rubber spatula or spoon until everything is evenly combined.

  4. 4. Carefully add chopped chocolate and nuts with a knife (not too finely, so that nice pieces remain). Mix

  5. 5. Using a tablespoon and a palm greased with water (or oil), form balls (about 45 g each, like a tennis ball). Spread on a baking sheet lined with parchment, then 2.5-3 cm from each other. Let it rest for 20 minutes.

  6. 6. Bake for 12 minutes at 180°C.

  7. 7. Take the cookies out of the oven and let them cool for 10 minutes on a hot baking sheet before turning them over.
