How to make Rice with vegetables and soy gyros-style cutlets

  1. 1. Start cooking the rice in water according to the package instructions.

  2. 2. Wash the vegetables. Cut the bell pepper into strips, the zucchini into quarters, and the carrot into thin slices.

  3. 3. Heat half the olive oil in a pan and add the chopped vegetables and peas. Fry, stirring every few minutes, for about 10 minutes.

  4. 4. Meanwhile, soak the soy cutlets in hot vegetable broth for 10 minutes. After that, cut the cutlets into strips.

  5. 5. Set the vegetables aside. Add the remaining olive oil to the pan, heat it, then add the soy cutlets along with the gyros seasoning, hot and sweet paprika, and salt. Fry for about 5 minutes, stirring frequently to evenly distribute the spices.

  6. 6. Finally, add the vegetables back to the cutlets and fry for another minute.

  7. 7. Serve the rice sprinkled with turmeric on a plate, place the vegetables and soy cutlets next to it. Garnish with fresh basil.
