  1. 1. Lightly toast bread until golden.

  2. 2. Poach egg in boiling salted water for 2 - 5 minutes (depending on how well done you like your egg).

  3. 3. While egg is poaching, mash up avocado.

  4. 4. Spread butter over toast, then top with mashed avocado and poached egg.

  5. 5. Sprinkle with cracked black pepper and salt (optional). You can also add a sprinkle of chilli flakes if you like to give your food a spicy kick!
