How to make Calzone with Skyr, Chicken, Mushrooms, and Onion

  1. 1. Wash the chicken breast, pat it dry, remove any excess fat, and cut it into small cubes. Slice the mushrooms, and cut the onion into thin slices. Grate the cheese.

  2. 2. Heat some olive oil in a pan and cook the chicken seasoned with gyros seasoning. Once the chicken is browned on the outside, add the mushrooms and onion, and cook for another 10 minutes.

  3. 3. Remove the filling from the pan and set it aside to cool. Once cooled, mix the filling with the grated cheese.

  4. 4. Prepare the pizza dough. In a bowl, combine the sifted flour, skyr, baking powder, salt, and oregano. Knead until smooth, then shape it into a ball.

  5. 5. Roll out the dough into a thin, round shape. Place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  6. 6. Spread ketchup on one half of the dough (leaving the edges dry), then place the filling on top. Fold the dough in half and seal the edges tightly using your fingers or a fork.

  7. 7. Brush the top of the calzone lightly with olive oil.

  8. 8. Bake the calzone in a preheated oven at 250°C for 10 minutes.
