How to make Pasta with Tuna and Soy Cream Sauce with Asparagus

  1. 1. Trim the woody ends of the asparagus (or cut them off). Cut the asparagus into pieces about 2 cm long, and halve the cherry tomatoes. Slice the garlic.

  2. 2. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions.

  3. 3. In a pan, sauté the garlic, asparagus, and tomatoes in olive oil for about 3-5 minutes. Stir occasionally.

  4. 4. Pour the soy cream into the pan, season with salt, pepper, and nutritional yeast flakes (be cautious with the salt as the tuna will add saltiness). Bring the sauce to a boil, then reduce the heat and cook for another 3 minutes to slightly reduce the sauce.

  5. 5. Add the tuna and stir.

  6. 6. Serve the pasta topped with the sauce. You can also mix the pasta with the sauce in the pan and then transfer it to the plate (this will coat the pasta evenly with the sauce).

  7. 7. Before serving, sprinkle with chopped dill.
