  • Millet groats3× tablespoon (45 g)
  • Coconut shreds2× tablespoon (12 g)
  • Dark Chocolate1× cube (8 g)

How to make Coconut Millet Porridge with Mango

  1. 1. Rinse the millet thoroughly in a fine-mesh sieve.

  2. 2. In a pot, bring the plant-based drink (preferably coconut milk) to a boil, then add the millet and half of the shredded coconut. Lower the heat and cook until the millet absorbs almost all the liquid. Do not stir the millet once added to the pot and during cooking, as it may burn.

  3. 3. In the meantime, wash the mango and cut off a piece from the side that is flatter (the pit is more elongated there, making it easier to cut). Cut the flesh of the mango into cubes, making sure not to cut through the skin. Once the mango is cut, gently push the bottom part outward to form a "hedgehog" shape. Then, cut the flesh from the skin using a knife.

  4. 4. Once the millet is ready, transfer it to a bowl. Place the cubed mango on top, sprinkle with shredded coconut, and add chopped or grated dark chocolate.
