How to make Beef Mince Sandwich with Cheese, Tomato, and Pickle

  1. 1. Finely chop the onion, cut the lettuce into strips (or tear it by hand), and slice the tomato and pickle. Cut the cheese into small cubes or strips. Prepare a sauce by mixing ketchup with Skyr.

  2. 2. Put the ground beef in a pan and start cooking it on low heat to render the fat from the meat. Once this happens, add the onion, increase the heat slightly, and continue cooking the meat with the spices, stirring. When the meat is ready, add the cheese and mix until the cheese starts to melt.

  3. 3. Cut the ciabatta in half lengthwise, leaving one side intact.

  4. 4. Spread both sides of the bread with the sauce, then layer lettuce, tomato, and pickle on top, followed by the ground beef with cheese.
