  • Semi-skimmed milk0.5× cup (110 ml)
  • Old potatoes1× piece (90 g)
  • Butter1× teaspoon (5 g)
  • Oil1× teaspoon (5 g)

How to make Fish Benedictine

  1. 1. Boil the fillet in water for 10 minutes

  2. 2. Boil the peeled potatoes

  3. 3. Divide the fish into smaller pieces and put it into a pre-heated oven (200C) for 4-5 minutes

  4. 4. Bring the milk to the boil

  5. 5. Mash the fish along with the potatoes

  6. 6. Slowly add the milk and oil to the fish and potatoes

  7. 7. Once you obtain an even mass, season with salt and pepper

  8. 8. Line a casserole dish with butter, lay the mass inside it

  9. 9. Bake in a pre-heated oven (200C) for another 20 minutes
