How to make Ham, rocket and tomato pizza

  1. 1. Mix the oil with the sugar, oil and yeast. Set aside for 5 minutes until the yeast dissolves in the water.

  2. 2. Mix the flour with the salt in a bowl. Add water with the yeast. Knead the dough until it is soft and doesn't stick to your hands. Divide into two parts, form into balls, then set aside on the worktop and cover with a cloth. Wait an hour for the dough to rise.

  3. 3. Chop the onion and garlic. Fry briefly in the pan, add the passata. Fry until the sauce is very thick. Finally add the sugar, pepper, salt and a handful of chopped fresh basil. Dried basil can be used instead.

  4. 4. Roll the dough out once it has risen. Spread the tomato sauce over it. Place in an oven preheated to 250C (bottom heater) and bake for around 7-10 minutes until the base turns yellow.

  5. 5. After removing it from the oven, slice as desired and add the toppings.
