How to make Lazy Pierogi with Potato and Cheese

  1. 1. Cook the potatoes in salted water until soft, then mash them.

  2. 2. Peel and finely chop the onion, fry in olive oil until translucent, season, and let cool.

  3. 3. Mix potatoes, cheese, egg, both flours and half the onion. Season to taste.

  4. 4. Form a roll and cut diagonally like gnocchi.

  5. 5. Drop into boiling salted water and cook for 3–4 minutes after they float to the top.

  6. 6. Serve with the remaining onion.
