How to make Salmon in Leek Sauce with New Potatoes and Dill

  1. 1. Wash the potatoes thoroughly and boil them in salted water.

  2. 2. Wash the salmon, pat it dry with paper towels, then season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice.

  3. 3. Slice the leek into half-moons.

  4. 4. Heat olive oil in a frying pan and fry the salmon on both sides (about 3 minutes per side). Once seared, remove from the heat.

  5. 5. In the same pan, fry the leek. If necessary, add a splash of water to prevent it from burning.

  6. 6. Once the leek is lightly fried, pour in the cream, season with salt and pepper, and bring to a boil.

  7. 7. Add the salmon back into the boiling cream and cook for about 10 minutes to reduce and thicken the sauce. You can flip the salmon halfway through.

  8. 8. Serve the salmon with the sauce and boiled potatoes.

  9. 9. Sprinkle everything with fresh, chopped dill.
