How to make Spaghetti bolognese

  1. 1. Chop up the bacon. Place it in a pan on a medium heat and wait until the fat melts.

  2. 2. When the bacon has started to fry and the fat melts, add the chopped onion, wait for a few minutes then add the chopped celery and carrot.

  3. 3. When the vegetables are cooking and lose some of their volume, add the mince, salt and pepper, then cook on a medium heat.

  4. 4. Stir the mince frequently until all the liquid evaporates. Then increase the heat slightly and brown the meat. Fry until the meat is nice and brown.

  5. 5. Add the red wine to the meat and vegetables, and when it evaporates add the tinned tomatoes, previously diluted with a little broth.

  6. 6. Cook on a low heat for at least two hours, gradually adding the milk. Finally add salt and pepper to taste.

  7. 7. When the sauce is almost ready, boil the pasta.
